We are looking for a skilled Data Manager to join our dynamic team and help us manage, improve quality and optimize our data resources. You will be responsible for the data management processes, ensure the data availability, integrity, confidentiality, quality and efficient data management to support Harju Elekter Group operation and strategic goals.🚀

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Data Governance:
    Develop and implement data management policies and procedures to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with industry regulations.

  • Data platform:
    Develop and manage Harju Elekter Group data platform architecture and systems.

  • Data Integration:
    Coordinate the integration of data from various sources, ensuring seamless data flow across systems.

  • Data Storage:
    Manage and optimize databases and data storage solutions to ensure efficient data retrieval and storage.

  • Data Security:
    Always ensure data security and privacy. Implement and maintain robust data security measures to protect sensitive information from unauthorized access and breaches.

  • Team Leadership:
    Functionally mentoring a team of data professionals in Harju Elekter Group subsidiaries, Group management and functions.

  • Project Management:
    Oversee data-related projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

  • Data Analysis:
    Collaborate with production teams to analyse data and generate insights that drive operational efficiency and decision-making.

  • Reporting:
    Develop and maintain data reporting systems to provide accurate and timely information to stakeholders (Group management, functional leaders, specialist in subsidiaries in various countries)

What we expect from you:

  • Higher education in computer science, Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a Data Manager or in a similar role, preferably within a production or manufacturing environment.

  • Strong knowledge of data management principles, data governance, data integration techniques, data analytics, data science, machine learning and artificial intelligence.

  • Strong software development skills and knowledge of secure coding.

  • Proficiency in Databricks analytics and AI platforms and database management systems (e.g., MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Azure Cosmos DB) and analytics tools (e.g., Python, R, Power BI, Tableau).

  • Excellent understanding of data security practices and regulations (e.g., ISO 27000 family, GDPR).

  • Good technical understanding and experience with Microsoft data related systems (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, SharePoint, Teams).

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Advanced skills in database management, data warehousing and data integration technologies.

  • Ability to analyse complex data sets and generate actionable insights.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (minimum B2 level).
